Other Characters Currently In-Game: Jinx, Jamil Viper(/Ashengrotto)
Character Name: Rumi
Series: KPop Demon Hunters
Age: 23
From When?: Post-Ending
Warden Justification: She's driven by strong morals and a desire to protect and serve all of humanity, back home. Despite her upbringing revolving around hiding her full identity, she still grows into someone capable of feeling compassion for even those she's meant to consider an enemy. Whenever she sees genuine goodness and kindness, she can look beyond the person's (yes, including a demon's) crimes and begin figuring out a way to help them—truly help them, beyond the equivalent of bandaging their problems.
Rumi would arrive here with determination and stubbornness, but also far more patience and understanding. She does carry far more trauma now, but she will aim to use that as yet another tool for helping others. Taking her experiences to the heart, and then using that to help her try seeing things from the perspective of those she wishes to help. She's come to understand that her flaws are not something to bury.
Item: Small makeup mirror.
Abilities/Powers:
Fighting Skills: She can keep up with demonic beings in combat, both in physical strength and in speed/agility. Jinu, the leader of his group, even comments on just how physically strong she is, on top of struggling a bit when going against her.
Singing Skills: As a K-pop star and demon hunter, Rumi is a magnificent singer. Her voice is capable of attracting and inspiring hope and joy in people.
Spirit Magic: An energy powered by her fans' souls; it can be used to strengthen the barrier between the demon realm and the human world.
Weapon Conjuring: Hers takes the form of a glowing sword that is powered by her soul/willpower.
Energy Slash: Rumi's sword can create a powerful long-range slash with large amounts of soul energy, which she uses against Gwi-Ma, himself, in their final battle.
Spirit Vision: Rumi can see spirits, demons, and the spiritual energy that flows through the Honmoon. She can see when it's strong, weak, faltering, etc., as indicated by both the colors and brightness.
Honmoon Control: She can create, strengthen, and even destroy the barrier between the human and demon worlds.
Demonic Voice: When enraged, Rumi can let out a powerful scream. Her demonic voice even effects the Honmoon, appearing to weaken it (the Honmoon is said to have weak spots when there are red/reddish patches). It's very noticeably not human, and is likely able to affect human emotions, given her voice's preestablished ability over human feelings.
Teleportation Ability: She disappears into magenta smoke, reappearing wherever she wishes to.
Demonic Patterns: Her patterns glow magenta as she loses control of her demon side, then turns a light hue when she accepts her demonic side (thus, losing her shame). She appears capable of making the patterns turn almost invisible to the eyes. Her patterns react to Jinu's touch, glowing brighter when he reaches towards them.
Demonic Eye: When losing her grip on her demonic side, her left eye glows red. It's possible she gets heightened vision in that eye, given it's glowing the same color and same way demon eyes do.
Demonic Hand: When losing her grip on her demonic side, her right hand changes into that of a demon's, with dangerously sharp claws in place of fingernails. It is mostly black, in color.
Wardening Strategies and Philosophies: She is here to give her all - not just for any inmate assigned to her, but to all inmates (and even other wardens). In all honesty, she is known to be a workaholic, so her biggest challenge will be in not spreading herself too thinly. Thankfully, given her canonpoint, she'll be a little better about that!
“That's the funny thing about hope. Nobody else gets to decide if you feel it."
All in all, her main goal will be to keep people (namely those willing to accept it) inspired and motivated. Boost morale, but without trying to force it down anyone's throat. Think... private concerts very loosely disguised as hangouts. She'd push for healthy routines, while making it clear she doesn't see people as whatever terrible things they've done - she sees them, and she's prepared to be there. To stay there. For them.
Rumi will not carry strict expectations around with her, and will aim to remind whoever her inmate is, that graduation isn't meant to be forced.
She will say things like, if change is forced, that's a lot like, say, a regular human roughly binding a broken leg, continuing to use that leg, and then demanding to know why it hasn't healed yet! Everyone's case will be different, and she'll adjust her approaches to fit the situation, but the core of her will always be this woman who just wants to give her all for others. She may need reminders to step back at times, and she may need reminders to take at least an occasional break, but her heart will always be in... as they call it, "the right place".
Even when she's a touch off-course, the good intention will have been there, every time.
Deal: To travel to and from different worlds, with at least one passenger in tow.
